Christmas Families Ministry

It is getting to be that time of year again where kids are creating their Christmas wish lists, which means... the Christmas Families Ministry would be in full swing with volunteer opportunities and donation requests to help support families in need during the Christmas season!

Unfortunately, the Christmas Families ministry will be on vacation for the 2011 Christmas Season. As you all know,
Lord of Life is embarking upon a major campus development project. Due to the construction constraints limiting our storage space for donated gifts, it necessitates that we put our ministry on hold in 2011.

HOWEVER, Christmas Families ministry is comprised of a core team of dedicated volunteers who will be back in 2012 to carry on the Christmas Families tradition! So be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities in 2012 as we'd love for you all to join us again! In the meantime, many other Lord of Life ministries are looking for volunteers and donations, so spread the Christmas cheer by helping those ministries in need.

We are extremely grateful for your enduring support of this ministry over the past 8 years, and we look forward to many more years to come.

Volunteer Opportunities
* Quality Checker - Quality check wish lists submitted by social workers prior to posting.
Deliveries Volunteer - Transport donated gifts from Lord of Life to Rush Creek Golf Course.
* Deliveries Preparation Volunteer - Sort gifts by family into delivery bags and quality check to ensure all gifts are included.
* Shoppers - Purchase requested gifts that have not been donated, at the end of the collection time.  Donated gift cards are used to purchase these missing gifts.
